Anemones and Roses

We stumbled upon this unexpected bouquet on Pinterest earlier today. Ivory anemones paired with muted peachy roses and a deep navy silhouette on top, whispers vintage elegance.

Intrigued by this breathtaking combination, we went searching for other inspired ways to pair these two show stealing blooms…

Enter the “Enchanted Garden Wedding” centerpiece. This whimsical piece marries dreamy coral roses with geometric purple succulents- a gorgeously unexpected mix. It’s then topped off with airy white anemones and presented in a romantic copper vase. We can’t help but feel like we’ve stepped into a fairy tale…

Wedding Cake Wednesday

Brooches can be used in so many unique ways at a wedding, from a small family heirloom on the bouquet to an entire decor based on these beloved pieces. Today we’re sharing a beautiful cake with brooches cascading from tier to tier.

The Shoe Shot

Unless your choices in bridal gowns are on the shorter side
– a throwback to tea length or a flirty, ‘look at these hot legs’ option –
there aren’t many chances to get a glance at your shoes
that you may have spent weeks selecting.
Sure, you may throw them up as your new husband dips
you during the first dance, or lift your dress a few inches
during one of those awesome group dances that we alllll love so much,
(the ‘Cupid Shuffle’ is now stuck in your head isn’t it?)
but besides those few seconds, they’re hidden.
Well, not with these amazing shoe shots.
Over the past year, we have seen the shoes put into the spotlight,
and the shots are getting more and more creative.
And the shoes, well the shoes are just getting more and more fabulous.

So what have we learned?
(Besides that Jimmy Choo makes a beautiful shoe…)
Pick out the most beautiful pair and have your photographer ready,
because with these shots everyone will be staring at your shoes
much longer than your wedding day.

Color Combo: Black and White

We love black and white weddings.  Why?
This fabulous color combo can go all the way from black tie to outdoor soiree
and from modern to old Hollywood without a second glance.
The correct use of black and white within wedding décor can
make for a big visual impact while not overwhelming the eye.

Black and white is also a good combination for almost any other color.
Add pops of pink, gold, emerald, or neutrals with texture for a fun look.

Or, if you can’t decide which color is for you,
go with black and white and add them all!
